This is a direct mailing project that I created for one of my classes. My target audience for this piece was

Illustrator Dragon

This is an image of a personalized notebook that I did for a class.The specifications for this assignment was to create a 5"x7", black and white, 50 page notepad with a chipboard back. I wanted to showcase my illustration skills and created the dragon in Illustrator.

After the class was over, I decided to use the dragon for another project.

I created a box for a deck of cards. I colored the dragon in a gold and blue color. Using a radial gradient on the scales to make the dragon appear to be glowing. And I used a stone texture in the background to give it the appearance of a stone engraving. The photograph of the stone is a duotone .eps file that I created in Photoshop.

Color Blocking assignment

This is a recreation of a magazine ad that I was assigned to do in one of my classes. I took a short story of a friend of mine and created and ad for it.
